Norvask 10 mg is a tablet formulation containing Amlodipine Besilate. It belongs to the dihydropyridine class of calcium channel blockers. It works by dilating peripheral arterial blood vessels, reducing vascular resistance and blood pressure, and alleviating cardiac workload.

Children (6-17 years): initial 2.5 mg daily, can increase up to 5-10 mg depending on clinical response
